HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Emergency Medical Services responded to two separate moped crashes involving visitors on Tuesday afternoon.
The first happened around 11:50 a.m. on Kapaa Quarry Road in Kailua.
EMS said a 20-year-old woman was seriously injured in that incident. She was visiting from Germany, EMS said.
The second incident happened shortly after noon on Kalanianaole Highway in Waimanalo.
Paramedics treated a 29-year-old woman for multiple injuries. She was also rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
